A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed the Board Certified Behavior Analyst. A Behavioral Technician is the primary person clients contact every day and will need to be able to read, understand and implement effectively an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). They must also be able to quickly build rapport and maintain client dignity. Collecting accurate and clinically valuable data, reporting any new or changes in behavior observed, to the Clinical Supervisor to consider for addition to the BIP. We provide paid on the job training for those applicants that do not have their RBT certification.
JOB DEFINITION: This is an entry to mid-level, direct line therapist/RBT position.
PAY: Commiserate with ABA and Autism specific work experience and RBT certification. We offer scaled pay with increases available for:

HOURS: 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday. 30 minute unpaid lunch.
SUPERVISOR: Regional Director, Center Director, Clinical Supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 18 years of age or older, HS diploma or equivalent, RBT credential, or in process of obtaining credential (must obtain within first 6 months of hire)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide daily 1:1 therapy to children and adults with autism.
Be a role model to clients and staff.
Conduct yourself with kindness and compassion to clients and staff.
Maintain adherence to the RBT task list.
Ensure proper date collection for programs and maladaptive behavior.
Execute specialized behavior intervention plans developed and taught by BCBA.
Teach skill acquisition targets.
We will teach you the skills above, fluency in them not needed for consideration. The character traits above we need you to walk in with.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT RESPONSIBILITIES: The Behavior Technician must maintain adherence to the RBT task list as outlined by the BACB, including: engage in daily parent communication, communicate effectively and respectively with peers and supervisors, maintain client and company confidentiality and dignity, apply constructive feedback accordingly, maintain professional boundaries with parents and caregivers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, move and/or support up to 50 pounds (and/or up to adult size body weight with two-to-three-person lift). Position can require some degree of physical interaction with clients who have difficulty controlling physical behavior.

Must have acquired RBT Certification within 6 months of employment, Must be able to pass a federal background check & toxicology screen.

Competitive Hourly- Pay ranges from $16.50- $24.00 dependent on:
RBT Certification completion
Years in the field (ABA, SPED or group home/day hab)
Years worked at concept

Additional monetary & PTO bonuses available based on monthly goal scores.
Sign on bonus- $500, you must pass your 90 day probationary period to receive this bonus.

Schedule- Set with no overtime required. Ever. Unless you want OT and we can see. 30 hours guaranteed per week paid, additional 10 dependent on client cancellations.

Inservice- 6 paid in-service days & Txaba attendance (paid days, do not affect your PTO)
