If you are the Marketing Manager that we are looking for, you are a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and fun-filled office. You enjoy tapping into your creative side to develop compelling marketing, promotions, and social media campaigns targeting a wide variety of audiences. You are an experienced social media manager and have a background in traditional advertising buys. You have suburb creative and technical writing skills. You are highly organized and detail-oriented and possess excellent time management skills to successfully manage multiple campaigns and deadline calendars simultaneously.
You will be responsible for the success of our team by developing and driving marketing campaigns to increase event awareness and drive attendance and ticket sales. The Marketing Manager is a full-time salaried position.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in event marketing.
- Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing
- Experience in social media management (content creation, advertising, and analytics), traditional advertising, and media relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in managing and tracking marketing budgets.
- Graphic design experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and WordPress.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement event marketing campaigns (social media, radio, television, print, online, outdoor, and direct mail).
- Develops and tracks event marketing budgets, timelines, and organizational plans.
- Manages graphic design and creative development.
- Cultivates strong relationships with media outlets and vendors.
- Crafts compelling content for media campaigns.
- Manages social media platforms for multiple projects.
- Coordinates media relations campaigns, including writing press releases, pitching stories to media outlets, coordinating media interviews, and facilitating media access at events.
- Develops and executes promotions with third-party partners to promote events, conduct ticket giveaway contests, etc.
- Manages ticket sales set up with ticketing vendors and tracks sales.
- Compiles media analysis reports and post-event recap reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
