Rangely School District is looking for an Upper Elementary Teacher. A minimum B.A. in Education with applicable endorsement/emphasis is required. Prefer a Master’s in Education with applicable endorsement/emphasis. Hold or be able to obtain a Colorado Teaching Certificate/Licensing from the
Colorado Department of Education. Demonstrate knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments and the ability to facilitate data driven instruction and the standards based classroom. Candidate must possess a strong background in integrating the teaching of reading, writing and problem solving skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A minimum B.A. in education with a Valid Colorado Teaching
Certificate/license with appropriate endorsement.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, staff and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional program; ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers and parents; skill in oral and written communication. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
