We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Coordinator to join our team. As a Program Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate two residencies within our organization. About Us: The Greater Texas Education Foundation (GTEF) is dedicated to training twenty-one podiatric surgical residents. This mission has been ongoing for the past thirty years in the Houston area. The foundation is committed to improving the human condition through medical education, scientific publication, and direct patient care. Responsibilities: Helps to ensure smooth management and operations of the Residency Program. Provides administrative support to the medical directors at the direction of the Board. Prepares required information for residents approved by the American Associations of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine (ACCPM). Oversees the implementation of the National Residency Match Program. Oversees and coordinates the house-staff evaluation process in a web-based environment. Prepares credentials for all Residents. Assists faculty in preparing letters of recommendation for current and past participants in the program. Submits invoices and receipts for program expenditures. Coordinates all communication issues for residents and students with directors and associate attendings. Efficiently and timely communicates with attendings and residents. Maintains a supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.
Experience
Bachelor's degree (in Management, Office Administration, etc) plus a minimum of 2 years' experience as an administrative assistant, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; excellent communication, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in program coordination or related field
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with education administration practices is a plus
