Job Title: Regional Sales Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Pay Rate: $140k Base + Commission
Reports to: Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Location: Hybrid. Houston, Texas.
KULR Technology Location: Webster, Texas.
Travel: Travel required as necessary.
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Director oversees sales activities within a specific geographic area, leading a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets through the development of strategies tailored to regional market needs. This role requires a blend of leadership, analytical skills, and customer relationship management to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction within the region.
Functions:

Spearheads sales strategy and execution of sales activities for assigned region.

Directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region.

Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district.

Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies.

Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume.

Collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share.

May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

Screens applications, interviews candidates, and recommends individuals for hiring.

Makes recommendations for salary increases, merit increases and reclassifications.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.

Engineering experience a plus.

Familiar with battery safety and energy storage systems.

1 - 3 years supervisory experience required.

Science, technology or math background preferred.
