Program Manager – Recovery Navigator Program
Program Manager – Recovery Navigator Program will oversee and coordinate the continued development of the RNP program and its main objectives and to meet the long-term goals of the Recovery Navigator Program (RNP). The Program Manager is responsible for the day to day oversight of the program Outreach Workers, the program and individual case manager productivity goals and all required documentation. Will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with all RNP partners, clients and community stakeholders. The position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities include supervision of RNP outreach workers, providing collaborative leadership and staff support; identifying barriers to community resources and act as an advocate for systemic change. Will also be responsible for supporting the Team in engaging clients through outreach and development of individualized client services, access to a wide variety of community resources. The Program Manager will oversee the assigned client files for completion and to meet Agency and Program requirements, possess effective communication and develop strategic partnerships with the community and additional duties as assigned by the RNP Supervisor, Executive Director.
Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree. Master's Degree preferred with academic training in the social services field and in the area of substance use disorder treatment. Master’s Degree desirable. A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in work related to social work or outreach programs. 2-3 year's experience providing services to addicted individuals from a harm reduction perspective is essential. Experience with case management, homelessness and co-occurring disorders is preferred. One year of supervisory experience is required. Computer proficiency and ability to remain current with technological change is required and able to manage time and workflow with a high degree of accuracy is required. Must have ability to set boundaries, resolve conflict and de-escalate issues. Must have knowledge of license and permit requirements as proscribed by State and Federal regulations. Must be able to pass a satisfactory criminal background check and possess a current driver’s license.
