Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and optimizing restaurant performance.
Duties:
- Supervise and train restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and hosts/hostesses
- Interview and hire new employees to build a strong team
- Ensure smooth shift management and coordinate schedules
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are met
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Monitor food service operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage food production and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain a positive dining experience for customers by addressing any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
- Oversee the coffee program and ensure consistent quality
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and food service management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
