As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing optimal project pricing, understanding project scopes, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and our project managers.
Tufco provides epoxy and urethane flooring, as well as stainless steel drains for manufacturing facilities. We pride ourselves on building long-lasting client relationships through creating the best solutions and giving the best service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture new client relationships.
- Maintain strong connections with existing clients through calls, emails, and regular site visits.
- Acquire the best pricing for each project.
- Ensure a comprehensive understanding of project scopes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal project managers to effectively plan and execute projects.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to give compelling presentations to individuals and groups.
- Experience in negotiating pricing and reading blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of making and adhering to a structured work schedule.
Experience:
- Previous sales experience, preferably involving travel to clients (not showroom floor sales).
- Background in construction or sales to the food industry.
- Experience in project management.
- Comfortable with extensive travel within the state of New Yorkl, including overnight stays.
