We are seeking an Administrative Medical Assistant that has an interest in Functional and Integrative Medicine. This is a position that most people dream of, because you really get to help improve people's lives! Our model is direct pay, not insurance, and our patients come to us mostly by word of mouth. We need someone who is looking for more, not afraid of hard work, but passionate about helping patients.
Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Answering phone calls and helping patients with their needs
- Scheduling and managing appointments for patients.
- Greeting and checking in patients, verifying their information, and updating their records.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Managing medical records and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations of the facility.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
