We serve individuals who reside in Senior living communities and focus on providing emotional and cognitive treatment to promote a healthy lifestyle. Our treatment team educates the individualon the importance of physical activity, socialization, nutrition, and engaging in mental stimulation topromote cognitive and psychological well-being. We have a professional team of licensedpsychologists, licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) and licensed social workers (LSW) whowork in conjunction with the senior living staff and families to ensure that proper care is being provided to each resident.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients of all ages
- Offer crisis intervention services to clients in immediate need
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Stay current on the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience in crisis management and intervention
- Specialization or experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, or special education is preferred
- Post-residency experience in a clinical setting is required
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
- Ability to provide counseling services from a Christian perspective (if applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
