Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute (MTMHI) is a psychiatric hospital that serves 17 counties in Middle Tennessee. MTMHI offers 4 long-term care units, 3 short-term care units, and a Forensic Services Program for a total of 207 psychiatric beds. The mission of Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute is to provide quality care to the patients and families served by meeting their needs and continuously striving to exceed expectations.

- Night shift receives a shift differential pay.
- Nurses assigned to the Forensics Unit receive additional pay.
Responsibilities and Duties
A Registered Nurse at Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute provides direct patient care which involves nursing assessment and diagnosis, planning, implementation/intervention, and evaluation. An employee in this classification may be assigned to work days, evenings, nights, and/or weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Pre-employment Drug Testing and Criminal Background Checks Required.
