About the role:
This position reports to the Operations Manager. You will working with our Packaging Manager, Brewery Manager, Operations Manager and back office team to help support material flow between our Cascade Locks and Hood River, OR facilities. You will be responsible for checking in materials that arrive and stage them for the team. You will work in close collaboration with other department managers in order to synchronize processes, data handoffs, so inventory is up to date in Ekos.
A breakdown of your tasks:
Maintain halyard raw material inventory
- Maintain accurate and up to date inventory levels via Ekos
- Perform weekly audits of the daily Ekos entries to ensure correct depletions
- Perform weekly Halyard raw material inventory cycle counts
- Flag OOS or other inventory issues ahead of time
- Flag dying inventory for disposal or return to Cascade Locks
- Work closely with Operations Manager to understand inventory needs, production plan, and supply issues.
- Meet weekly with the Brewing Manager and Packaging Manager to discuss department needs
Raw material ordering and receiving
- Place weekly raw material orders with the Cascade Locks Warehouse for the brewing and packaging departments to ensure proper completion of the production schedule
- Check in raw material and reconcile BOLs received to orders to ensure fulfillment of weekly materials requirements
- Transfer raw materials and finished goods within Ekos in a timely manner so Ekos matches actuality
- Coordinate directly with the CL Warehouse for any materials required outside of normal cadence
- Own the Halyard raw material storage.
- Regularly organize storage to maintain cleanliness and ease of use
- Maintain FIFO raw material flow
- Accountable for the orderly stocking of raw materials through delegation or doing it oneself
- Maintain 102 Hop Cooler in order to manage inventory and FIFO rotation and to provide adequate space for TR beer storage
- Maintain cleanliness of all storage areas to minimize pest and environmental damage
Finished Beer Shipping and Receiving
- Check out BOLs and trucks leaving Halyard Brewing Facility towards Cascade Locks Warehouse by ensuring drivers’ BOLs match the contents of the truck
- Receive Tasting Room beer orders and coordinate its organization into cold storage
- Communicate arrivals and departures of finished beer with expected recipients

You are comfortable working with production staff in all departments to ensure clear communication from production teams to the back office team. Work in a production brewery can sometimes be hectic, no matter how well we plan, and how good our team is. You don’t get fired up under pressure, and know how to prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude. You know how to ask for help and how to manage tasks and emotions when it’s go-time.
Your qualifications
- At least three years of production or warehouse experience at a similar scale manufacturing facility
- Proficiency with MS office, Google suite, and basic computer skills
- Experience with web-based ERP programs is a plus
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Solid references are a must
