Line Cooks are responsible for:
- Set up and stocking of assigned station in preparation of service
- Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, making sauces, portioning items, etc.)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team to ZZ&S specifications and standards of quality/appearance
- Answer, report, and follow managing chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of remaining food prep
- Maintain cleanliness of station and other kitchen areas (walk-in, trash area, etc)
- Practice excellent hygiene, food safety protocols, allergy protocols, and food safety
- Understanding assigned menu items inside and out
Requirements:
- 1 year food handling/cooking experience in high-end kitchens preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Organization
- The ability to operate/thrive in a team environment
- Empathy and grace towards fellow team members and guests
Compensation Details
- Hourly pay - $16.87-19.67/hr
