Spinnaker Oilfield Services is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics for our Hobbs, NM facility. You will be working in our climate controlled shop but sometimes will be required to make service calls to the field operations. 90% of our equipment is less than 5 years old.
This is a rotation with corporate apartments provided. Rotation is normally 2 weeks on and 1 week off, but can adjust slightly if necessary.
The Diesel Mechanic performs high-level mechanical functions for designated District under minimal supervision.
Essential duties include the following:
- Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoots mechanical entities to determine problems and offer improvements when necessary.
- Performs periodic maintenance services to all Spinnaker equipment and related sub-components in the shop or on the job site.
- May be responsible for maintaining parts inventory on the job site.
- May be assigned a vehicle and must maintain assigned vehicle according to Company standards.
- Performs day-to-day repairs on Spinnaker equipment as scheduled and required.
- Maintains work orders and records with sufficient background to ensure requirements for quality have been met.
- Provides mechanical assistance to other mechanics as required.
- Practices good housekeeping keeping.
- Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
- This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 – 85 per week
