Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned property
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants and staff
- Negotiate lease/re-certifications with tenants in a timely and reliable manner
- Advertise and market vacant apartments to attract tenants
- Collect receivable accounts and manage operating expenses
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance including unit inspections
- Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
- Meet deadlines
Skills
- Proven work experience as property manager - Section 8 and/or Tax Credit Experience
- Fully understanding property management and its financial aspects
- In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management including Section 8, Tax Credit and Fair Housing requirements/guidelines
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Customer focus and bottom line orientation
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Team Leader
- Excellent Communication Skills
