**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, troubleshooting issues, and closing sales to meet targets. Our company is fabricator of hydraulic tube and hose assemblies as well as a secondary manufacturer of steel fittings and adapters. Additionally, we are a stocking distributor of 50+ lines of fluid power components. Due to the nature of our product line, strong knowledge of the fluid power industry is very helpful.
**Duties:**
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales, and status reports.
**Skills:**
- Proven work experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar role.
- Experience in technical sales, business development, account management, or related fields.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics to drive results.
- Strong understanding of technology sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
