**Job Overview:**
About Us: my name is Gregory better known as chef Gregory I am a graduate of the culinary institute of America of Hyde Park NY. I have been in the industry since 1995 and after graduating I was trained by the same chef that trained Wolfgang Puck in Germany and have worked in three star Michelin restaurants all the way down to claim jumper. I know what it's like to work hard and i have created this restaurant environment for the people that are interested in learning and working and when you know how to create amazing BBQ. I have one several barbecue competitions with my team in Memphis TN, i've competed since 1998 and our team has taken grand champion several times. I will pass on my knowledge of making barbecue and other amazing goodies to the people that work with me. This is a small business specializing in crafting delicious barbecue pork, ribs, and chicken, alongside traditional sides such as coleslaw, baked beans, and cornbread. Our establishment operates within a cozy 500 square-foot space, requiring a versatile individual who can handle various kitchen duties and contribute to maintaining a high standard of quality and service. For the most part the chain is as strong as its weakest link, and i will assist you in becoming the best that you can be in this BBQ environment. I am very easy going and easy to get along with unlike Gordon Ramsay. There is also a beer and wine license at this environment so we will make tips by serving alcohol to boost our base pay.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with industry best practices in food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
