Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed guidelines and document administration in medication systems
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected and maintained at all times
- Engage in activities that promote socialization and community integration
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of resident information
- Drive residents to appointments, outings, and activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of Autism and developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist with transferring individuals as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
