The Front Desk Agent is responsible for all duties of the front desk operation which includes: inter-department communications, greeting guests. The Front Desk Agent should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. Also this position will respond quickly to guest requests and/or complaints in a friendly manner and ensure that appropriate action is taken to guarantee guest satisfaction. Further, embracing CoralTree Residences Collection vision and service culture; promoting unity and teamwork and inspiration amongst all departments; and maintaining a supportive and productive relationship with the ownership group.
He/she must be resourceful, highly self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and sense of urgency, exceptional written/verbal communication skills, and be able to help guests to the best of their ability.

Duties include:
- Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, professional, and service oriented manner.
- Maintains high standards throughout daily assignment.
- Maintains a high level of guest satisfaction by doing whatever is within his / her power to ensure each guest is satisfied with his / her stay. If the situation requires greater authority, contact the supervisor or a manager on duty.
- Greets guests in a pleasant manner.
- Checks-In guests properly, using names a minimum of three times, established departmental protocol, unless otherwise instructed by management.
- Takes immediate corrective action when guests’ needs are not met and reports the situation to a supervisor.
- Attends and contributes input to required meetings.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
- Communicates effectively and immediately any situations which may require management assistance. This may include employee-related issues as well as guest issues.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of office areas.
- Maintains professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of safety and fire procedures.
- Explains the hotel and services according to departmental protocol.
- Answers telephones according to protocol/Always manned at all times.
- Maintain accurate billing and check-out documentation, including transaction slips and a daily work and bank audit.
- Assist in training and supporting new front office personnel.
- Invites our departing guests to return.
- Completes tasks and projects delegated by management; assists other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.
- Completes shift check list and informs management if there is anything that time does not permit
- Reports to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outline in the employee handbook and hotel employee rules.
Qualifications:

- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Wage:
- The starting hourly rate is $20.00
