Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant, a third-generation, family owned and operated restaurant and caterer, located in the heart of Lakes Region of New Hampshire, is looking for a qualified Assistant Manager to join our team. This is a Full-Time, Year-Round position.
We look for positive, energetic, motivated, reliable, and loyal team players. The ideal candidate will be one that can lead and support our team on a day to day basis as well as help grow guest counts and sales. The job requires a proven leader to motivate, communicate, engage in guest and staff details, and run great shifts. This is a hands on position with responsibilities encompassing a main focus on FOH departments while also maintaining relationships with BOH . This position is about creating a positive work environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, training a great team, and motivating the team to high success.
Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience and benefits are available.
Requirements:
- Preferred: 3 years management experience in full service restaurant
- Minimum 3 years experience serving and/or bartending in full service restaurant
- Flexible availability - days/nights, weekends, and holidays required
- Knowledge of scheduling
- Experience with social media business accounts and plus
- ServSafe certified or ready to become certified upon hire
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Working directly with the GM to uphold all safety, standards, and procedures of service for Hart's to ensure guest satisfaction
- Recruitment and dismissal of team members
- Training, mentoring, and continued coaching of team members
- Motivation and team building
- Scheduling (done on a weekly basis)
- Ability to resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively
- Daily staffing and assisting with the day to day operations
- Maintaining and updating social media accounts
- Gaining knowledge and mastery of all FOH departments through hands on training to support team members as needed
