Remote Licensed Qualifying Supervising Professional (QSP)

Professional Requirements (At least one of the following professional licenses):
- Licensed Psychologist
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
- Licensed Physician
- Developmental Pediatrician
- Behavioral Pediatrician
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition
- Experience working with Minnesota Medicaid and EIDBI services preferred
- Completed the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university
Note: Coursework must be documented in one or more of the following areas: ASD or a related condition diagnostics, ASD or a related condition treatment strategies, or child development
- Be able to provide treatment within our scope of practice and license
- Experience administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as
psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess client needs and progress
- Provide therapy services to individuals with autism, special needs, chronic pain, gender issues, and other clinical populations
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as art therapy, dance therapy, and counseling techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of therapy and counseling
Skills and Duties:
-Complete and/or review comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluations for individuals at risk for autism.
- Review and sign treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and treatment modifications developed by BCBAs per their Level 1 roles and responsibilities.
- Observe Level II behavior technicians for 1 hour per month and provide supervisory feedback
- Document clinical supervision that is pertinent to a client’s treatment in his/her case notes
- Coordinate and implement the initial and annual coordinated care conference, as requested by the parent or legal representative and attend meeting annually
- Strong knowledge and experience in therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to collect and analyze data for treatment planning and evaluation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Empathy and compassion for individuals with diverse clinical needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation requirements
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs
