What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a Bilingual Assistant Property Manager to join our team to support the day-to-day operations of our residents, support staff and general operations of our real estate business.
An Assistant Property Manager’s responsibilities include reporting any issues or concerns regarding buildings, basic bookkeeping to keep track of funds efficiently and maintaining relationships between staff members and tenants alike by attending weekly management meetings. Their responsibilities include:
· Inspect property conditions and coordinate maintenance activities
· Manage budgets, accounts, rent collections and tenant notices
· Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants
· Maintain organized and updated resident files and records
· Report any problems or issues to the property manager
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years of Property Leadership experience, or relative.
- Must be Bilingual
- Have reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
- Assisting in operating the property within established financial guidelines and budget.
- Supervision of work order and maintenance staff in absence of the Manager.
- Supervision of leasing activities in the absence of leasing consultant.
- Maintaining occupancy at established levels.
- Reviewing delinquent accounts and taking required action.
- Process invoices to ensure payments is being issue on time.
- Ensuring residents’ requests are responded to in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Maintaining resident account information in RealPage.
- Scanning checks and posting subsidy payments.
- Performing the monthly closing.
- Assisting the Property Manager with coordinating apartment turnovers.
- Coordinating resident activities.
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day/Night shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
This is a great opportunity for those who have left the industry and looking to get back in. Hotel, Rehab, Condo, and Carpentry experience are all a plus!
