OVERVIEW
We are looking for a caring, polite, efficient, professional who can multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with high call volume. Wework as a team to provide outstanding service to patients. The Patient Services Representative will help patients seeking cardiovascular care, scheduling their appointments, assisting with questions, and ensuring they receive a positive experience. Our most successful call center representatives are customer-focused, while moving through their job quickly and efficiently taking 100+ a day. After the completion of training this will be a full-time remote position.
Applicants should live in Miami, Florida, or in a close drivable surrounding city to apply. On-site training in Coral Gables and occasional visits to the Miami office for training or corporate events are a part of the corporate culture.
Desired Skills:
- Prefer applicants to have medical office and/or high-volume call center experience in either sales or service.
- Applicant must be Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Ability to answer inbound calls and schedule office appointments and answer questions for new and established patients. Patient Service Representatives schedule appointments for more than fifty different medical professionals, so organization and meticulous attention to detail is desired.
- Engage in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing anxiety, as needed.
- Utilize computer software, databases, scripts, and tools as directed in formal training and regular coaching.
- Route tier two calls the appropriate personnel, as needed.
- Coordinate hospital consultations with practice offices.
- Build lasting relationships with patients and other call center team members in our remote but connected online environment.
- Understand and strive to meet or exceed contact center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
- Representatives take an average of one hundred or more calls daily.
- Make recommendations for appointment times, providers, and locations that may better suit patient needs.
- Learn innovative technologies and workflows as we continue to improve.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Experience desired, healthcare focused call center experience or call center professionals accustomed to delivering a great caller experience in a high-volume setting. We will also consider medical office staff accustomed to a fast-paced office where they have had first-hand experience making patient appointments and multi-task.
· Exceptional customer service is necessary, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice, comfortable with proper phone etiquette including greetings, customer request acknowledgement and proper hold procedures.
· Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
· Strong time management and decision-making skills.
· Adaptability and accountability.
· Fluency in Spanish
· Must maintain throughout employment High Speed Internet Access of 25 MBPS download and 5 MBPS upload. You will need to provide proof of an internet speed test.
· You must be able to direct wire to your modem.
· You must be able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.

TRAINING
All new employees will need to complete 2 weeks of on-site training before they graduate to full-time remote work. On their first day staff complete onboarding paperwork at our West Kendall Office, 12985 SW 130 Court Suite 110/114, Miami, FL 33186. After completing the onboarding process, 2 weeks of training will take place in our Coral Gables office 4675 Ponce De Leon Blvd. Suite 203, Coral Gables, FL 33146. Training will be ongoing when you begin to work independently in your remote office.
