PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONS: Performs drug and alcohol / paternity testing for customers. May be required to test at customer’s location as necessary.
GENERAL ATTENDANCE:Attendance requirements are from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (unless otherwise stated for part-time and temporary employees). This is a part time position working on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for collection of urine drug screens from DOT and non-DOT using the correct chain of custody (COC) form for each drug screen.
- Administer Breath Alcohol test (BAT) for both DOT and non-DOT, using the correct form.
- Field incoming questions regarding the business services programs offered by WorkForce Essentials, Inc. (WE, Inc), and provide answers or appropriate referral for information.
- Relay calls to appropriate party, taking messages when necessary, both telephonically and in person.
- Order supplies for drug and alcohol testing, including cups, air bills, forms, gloves, bluing, and any other supplies needed to perform services.
- Reconcile drug testing logs of WE, Inc. to those of third party screening agencies at the end of the month to ensure that all drug screens are on both logs.
- Enter drug and alcohol tests into computer tracking program (Client Track).
- Schedule customers for services and enter customer information into appropriate client tracking system as necessary.
- Ensure drug screens are available for couriers at the end of the work day.
- Fax copies of COC to Medical Review Officer as per the employer / third party administrator’s directions, and file copies in employer folders.
- Type envelopes, mailing labels, forms, etc.
- Provide administrative assistance to organizational operations both in the performance of routine, day-to-day program related activities and in the completion of special projects as necessary.
- Operate various office machines to include fax machine, copier, postage, and network printer.
- Receive program or project -related applications and receipt money from the public when required for application or enrollment.
- Purchase supplies.
- Perform other program or project-related and other duties as needed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge and experience in the drug and alcohol collection process helpful, but not required. · Ability to operate computer programs for data entry and correspondence. · Ability to operate electronic copiers, printers, facsimile machines, and handle multiple phone lines is required. · Ability to read and understand forms and documents. · Good communications skills required. · Must demonstrate strong customer service orientation toward both internal and external customers, to include co-workers, program participants and vendors. · Must possess a pleasant telephone voice and personality as well as a professional appearance. · Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. · Must possess good organizational skills. · Will be required to obtain breath alcohol technician and substance abuse testing collection procedures certification. · Must possess the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
