Title: Electrical Engineer (Technical Support Engineer)
Location: Marietta, GA
salary: $50-75k(DOE)
Other: Entry-level candidates are welcomed. Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering) is required.
Daily work hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Travel: Around 10%
Requires experience in working with:
1- Fieldnetwork such as followings and not limited to: EtherNet IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, CC-Link,
2- Serial Communication (Modbus)
3- PLC ladder logic programming (minimum of entry level)
Tech Support over phone to customer, distributor and our Sales. Including:
a. Interface technique with other peripherals such as PLC, HMI, Vision, etc., with Serial Protocol and fieldbus (DeviceNet, ProfiBus, CC-Link, etc.,)
b. PC Interface software programming instruction.
c. Trouble shooting over phone
Including:
a. On-site and In-house training for customer, distributor and our Sales in regards to the Item 2 - a. & b.
b. Robo Expo training (Our product training and promotion).
c. To give training to internal stuff member.
Creating Tech Support Document & Testing Including:
a. Manual review
b. Technical tips information in regards to the Item 2 - a. & b.
c. Hands On instruction manual in regards to the Item 2 - a. & b.
d. Cycle time test
e. Proving test
There will other assignments based upon the needs and request from:
(1) Internally within the company
(2) the customers
(3) our distributors
(4) our factory.
This position requires some travel, with a couple nights of overnight trip.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (preferably mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering)
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and instrumentation
- Experience 0-3 years; new college graduates will be considered.
