Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant in our Safety Department to join our team. The Safety Administrative Assistant maintains the Environmental, Health, and Safety program files and related documents and forms and supports the Safety Department’s administrative requirements.
Duties:
- Tracking Training: Maintaining records of employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- MS Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for various administrative tasks.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with team members.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to efficiently manage tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain orderly records and documentation.
- Multitasking: Capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-Starter: Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving, able to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- Ability to Work with Limited Guidance: Comfortable with autonomy and making decisions within established guidelines or procedures.
EXPERIENCE:
- Administrative Experience: Prior experience in an administrative role is highly preferred, demonstrating proficiency in managing various office tasks and responsibilities.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the capability to utilize technology effectively to streamline administrative functions.
- Organizational Mastery: Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, enabling efficient management of tasks, schedules, and documentation within a fast-paced office environment.
- Time Management Expertise: Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently, ensuring the smooth execution of administrative duties and responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, allowing for meticulous documentation, data entry, and correspondence management to maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Communication Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and effective communication with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders to support collaborative work environments and client interactions.
