Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to prevent equipment downtime. This will include performing preventative services and maintenance procedures and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Work is often performed as part of a team but may be required to perform maintenance tasks without assistance.

NOTE: This position works from 7pm to 7am on rotating 2/2/3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off in a two-week period).
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) checks and document according to department procedures.
Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues.
Demonstrate ability to operate equipment needed to perform troubleshooting of maintenance issues.
Perform equipment and facility repairs as needed.
Perform basic metal working.
Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform electronics troubleshooting and coordinate with Maintenance Manager repair of electronics equipment.
Perform hydraulics/pneumatics troubleshooting and repairs.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Certification and/or Degree in a maintenance field preferred.
At least 1 year of job-related experience required, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Ability to apply math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions to practical maintenance situations.
Must use reasoning skills to problem solve and interpret written and verbal instructions.
Must read, write, & speak English fluently.
Ability to work with sense of urgency to resolve issues that affect plant production without increasing errors.
Must be able to interpret documents including blueprints, schematics, safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
The expected compensation range for this role is $30.00 per hour but is DOE as well as shift premium.
The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
