Delta Steel Technologies is looking for experienced Automation Engineer/PLC Programmers (Alan Bradley, Siemens) ready to work hard with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities :
- Develop PLC and HMI applications to meet specifications
- Plans, evaluates, organizes and implements automation related projects and initiatives.
- Develop electrical schematics and layouts in AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop Electrical Bill of Materials
- Reviews design efforts from production team to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot issues with existing installations
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade legacy code
- New equipment installations
Requirements :
- Associates degree in Instrumentation and Controls, Electrical Automation, or a related field
- 2 or more years of experience in automation industries (preferred)
- Must be able to travel up to 50% domestically and Internationally
Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
- Proven collaborator; able to leverage individual strengths to provide value to the entire team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Hands on experience with electrical systems (preferred)
- Skills with pneumatic and hydraulic applications is a plus
