Founded in 1976, Utility Specialists is a dry utility consulting firm with offices in Mission Viejo, Murrieta and San Diego. We are seeking a Project Coordinator for our Mission Viejo Office.
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Project Coordinator to join our Mission Viejo Team. Experience interacting with SCE & SCG Planning and/or Design departments is strongly preferred.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license issued from the state of residence.
- Must possess and maintain current DMV vehicle registration and automobile insurance as required by the company.
- Must have strong computer skills in order to perform routine operations in use of Windows and Windows related programs and other software as established by the firm's policies and procedures.
- Must have comprehensive experience with Excel/Word/Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Must be able to navigate and work with a PC/Windows.
- Must have a strong understanding of Adobe Acrobat and file conversion.
- Excellent Attention to Detail.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Administration of internal records associated with projects, such as filing reports, records, and correspondence necessary to maintain accurate chronological filing system for projects.
- Follow-up as required to assure compliance with negotiated time, specification and performance schedules.
- Follow-up with client contacts as directed for obtaining necessary information, plans, data, specifications and other items critical to the proper flow of information in furtherance of the projects.
- Arrangement of necessary meeting times and places, as directed, to ensure the orderly processing of projects.
- Identifying project scheduling and informational problems, initiating remedy and notifying the Project Manager.
- Follow-up with necessary information and data processing.
- Field trips in the performance of these duties as required or directed.
- Compilation of information for project reports.
- Other related miscellaneous duties as required or directed.
