Hamilton Land Services is dedicated to the construction and maintenance of Atlanta's finest gardens. We specialize in large garden installation and detail-oriented small gardens in the mid-town area for high-end residential properties.

Responsibilities:
- Weeding, pruning, deadheading and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and perennials.
- Planting and transplanting various plant material.
- Fine pruning of small trees and shrubs throughout the property
- Cutting back plant material in the fall
- Installing mulch and edging beds in the spring
- Perennial plant care, container displays, seasonal color rotations
- Helping install and maintain seasonal annual planting displays.
- Performing invasive plant removal (typically in the winter months)
- Applying deer repellent, herbicide and insecticide
- Monitoring plant material and identifying insect and disease issues.
- Watering and fertilizing plant material as needed.
- Helping other employees with preparing for events held on the property.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of work experience performing above mentioned tasks.
- Degree in Horticulture or related field preferred
- Experience working with various equipment (ie: mower, stringtrimmer, pruners, handsaw, chainsaw, hedge trimmers and backpack sprayer.
- Available to work 40 hours per week or more depending on time of year.
- Able to E-Verify
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to self-direct to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to take direction from others.
- Ability to bend, stand and lift objects for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (ie: cold, rain and heat)
Expectations:
- Work alongside our Team Leader on high-end residential properties and take good direction.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently as well as with others.
- Perform a full range of gardening and horticultural duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
