Job Description & Responsibilities
- Tutors are required to complete the C2 Teacher Training Program and additional ongoing training.
- Tutors instruct students in a 3:1 setting of up to 3 students per tutor.
- Tutors keep detailed records of tutoring sessions and work closely with Center Director and C2 curriculum to meet students’ academic goals.
- Tutors will be working in person at our Jericho location

Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
- High SAT scores. We're looking for tutors who can score at or above the 95 percentile on either the SAT Math or English section.
- If you have a teaching certification, then you need to score above the 75th percentile on either the SAT Math or English section.
- Tutors must be highly skilled, motivated, dynamic, versatile, and dependable, with strong communication skills.
- Tutors must be friendly, patient, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student
- AP-level knowledge in subjects preferred (Physics and Math)
- No teacher certification required
- No previous teaching or tutoring experience required but candidate must have a passion for education and mentoring students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
