Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Program Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and helping staff to develop individual plans to improve their working environment and teaching practices to support young children's growth and overall program quality. Duties:
- Build collaborative relationship with other staff based on mutual respect.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and non verbal.
- Apply adult learning principles to effectively communicate with staff.
- Become trained in various curricula, assessment and monitoring tools utilized by the program. Provide monitoring tools to support school readiness goals.
- Processes to help staff develop plans to improve their working environment and teaching practices to support pre-school growth and overall program quality.
- Assess all education staff to identify strengths and areas of needed support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with young students in a health club or educational setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background Pre-K teaching and Head Start programing.
- Background in classroom observations, self assessments, and action plans.
