Job Duties
· Participate in the community as a representative of Tapville’s Core Values
· Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, clearly explaining the “how-tos” of the ideal guest experience and encouraging participation in the Tapville Membership Reward program.
· Take food and beverage orders from guests; accept payment and make change.
· Deliver Five-Star Service: Serve food, alcohol, and other beverages in measured quantities and check with the guest to ensure you’ve met (or, better yet, exceeded) their expectations.
· Practice suggestive “up-selling” techniques highlighting our beverage menu's fantastic offerings.
· Serve responsibly and comply with all local alcohol service regulations (including age verification)
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation and guest seating areas.
· Thank and re-invite departing guests.
· Opens and closes the location, ensuring appropriate housekeeping and presentation standards are adhered to following established procedures and checklists.
· Assist management in monitoring inventory, verifying the quality and accuracy of deliveries, and ensuring products are adequately stocked.
· Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
Skill Requirements
· 1-year experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail industry; prior bartending experience preferred
· Well-developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent guest service
· Capable of performing calmly and effectively under pressure
· Basset certification obtained within 30 days of hire date
Physical Requirements
· Must be at least 21 years old
· Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
· Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day
· Able to exert fast-paced mobility to accomplish tasks.
· Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standard
