Seeking: Badass Performance Coach
Pure Edge is Environment. Experience. Expectations.
About Us
Pure Edge Performance Training is a leader in sports performance and fitness training in the northern region of Allegheny County, just a few miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. With a reputation for helping our clients achieve unmatched results in an expeditious manner, over the past 8 years we have become a trusted source for no frills training, fitness expertise, and fervent customer service.
Bottom line: the Pure Edge Training process gets results better than most. We utilize a broad yet specialized approach to get the most out of our clients. Our programs are built on the pillars of human performance - strength, power, mobility, and nutrition. When a prospect walks in our doors, we identify their goals, assess their abilities, and get right to work. Whether a superstar recruit, an aspiring impact player, a weekend warrior, or a parent just looking to outrun their kids, we guide our members to reach beyond their limits.
In that vein, we’re looking for a badass coach to mentor our clients to do one thing: make it happen!
About this Opportunity
With your experience and passion, we will continue to grow the reach and notoriety of Pure Edge Training in our community as the leader in professional fitness training. This position reports to the Performance Director and the ideal start time is early summer 2024. The potential to grow into a full time leadership role is up to you.
Our Mission
We help motivated athletes (and non-athletes alike) who are looking to level up their game. We provide specialized strength and speed training and behavioral guidance to help our clients unlock their potential. Unlike our local competitors, we use our education and experience to dig deep into what an athlete needs to perform at their best, making us one of the most effective training gyms in our area.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal Performance Coach has at least 1 year experience or a strong internship as a fitness professional and an exercise science or similar degree. Relevant professional certifications will be considered, but are not required. Experience with athletes in both small and large group training is a bonus. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of teamwork, high-touch customer service, and strong client results. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and ability required to succeed in this position.

Experience: Driven by demanding but passionate humans who happen to love fitness
Expectations: You get our very best at every moment, yet we expect even more from you
