The Center for Digestive Health, a member of Pinnacle GI Partners, is dedicated to the field of gastroenterology, encompassing the entire digestive system. Our expertise extends to diagnostic endoscopic procedures, ultrasounds, studies of liver disease, as well as the diagnosis and management of reflux and motility studies.
We are currently on the lookout for Registered Nurses to join our surgical centers in the Troy and Macomb areas. Assignments may vary between locations based on scheduling requirements.
Some of your responsibilities in this role will be:
- To assess patient health problems and needs
- To develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain electronic medical records
- To use strong patient assessment skills with experience in recovery of post anesthesia patients.
- To identify pertinent patient history during admission process
- To document all necessary patient information accurately, completely and in a timely manner
- Serves as a patient/family advocate
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Michigan
- Previous clinical or hospital nursing experience, preferred
- Previous clinical experience in a surgical environment preferred
- Current CPR certification required
- Current ACLS Provider certification (or must obtain within 6 months from date of hire) required
