Immediate Opening! Fast-paced, property management office looking for a professional, highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual with a teamwork attitude. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, data entry, emphasis on bookkeeping experience, organizing projects, and helping with other office duties. Great opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment. Phone experience and computer proficiency are a plus! Pay based on experience.
Experience:
- Accounts payable: 1 year Required
- Accounts receivable: 1 year Required
- Reliable Transportation: Required
- Collections: 1 year Preferred
- Receptionist: 1 year Preferred
- Accounting: 1 year Preferred
Duties:
- Review invoices, process and cut vendor checks.
- Process payments and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers
- Generating financial statements and A/R & A/P reports
- Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
- Treasury functions such as bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions
- Posting payments and conducting daily reconciliation
- Analyzing customer payment plans, payment history, and collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
- Making collection calls on outstanding accounts
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and
- regulations
Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in accounting systems
- Accounts payable procedures & process
- Accounts receivables procedures & process
- General accounting knowledge
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Proficient in data entry
- Microsoft Office Knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
