Seattle Apartment Leasing Associate
Arboreal Management is excited to add a team member to drive leasing and occupancy in the competitive Seattle apartment market. We call this sales, other companies call it leasing.
This role, a Sales Associate, will be responsible for driving sales for a portfolio of 6-8 buildings and about 300 apartment units. We work in a close-knit team environment. Compensation is $50k base pay salary plus a significant bonus for each apartment leased.
Arboreal Mangement is the property management arm of Great Expectations, an entrepreneurial, fast moving Real Estate investment business focused on providing innovative, affordable, and profitable housing. What you will do: Our sales team is responsible for all of our marketing leasing across our growing portfolio. You will work closely with our Portfolio Manager and Head of Sales to ensure that we are reaching our potential.
· Creating the story for each our properties
· Managing our marketing, including developing innovated social medial campaigns
· Responding to inbound leads
· Working with prospective tenants
· Conducting tours
· Signing leases!
· Conducting move ins and follow ups
Our apartments: Our buildings are generally described as "workforce housing" -- simple apartment homes for people who work in the great cities of the Pacific Northwest. Many of them are "micro housing" -- small, naturally affordable apartment. Our average rent is about $1000 per month. Our apartment buildings range in size from 17-100 homes. We operate in a "scattered site" model, so one Sales Associate can cover 6-7 buildings. The apartment type and portfolio format requires skill and finess to execute.
We currently own and manage about 2,000 homes. We have three lease ups coming later this year with over 600 more homes. It's going to be a very exciting time!
Who you are: You are early in your career and motivated to take on an opportunity with a larger set of responsibilities and opportunities than normally offered. In addition:
· You have experience in leasing, real estate or in any form of sales
· You are hungry for mentorship from industry veterans and exposure to the Real Estate development process, with the hope of one day leading your own business
· You are comfortable working with leadership, can conduct yourself in business dealings, are organized, efficient, and spot problems before they happen
· You understand details matter and are therefore as comfortable managing a single lease as you are learning how to develop a Real Estate empire
· You are quantitatively oriented, love data, and are comfortable with numbers and analysis. You can use multiple analytical tools
· You understand the responsibility of being a core member of a small team.
What you should bring: We are looking for an individual with some experience in a relevant field and a strong professional orientation. Most of all, we seek someone who is flexible, detail oriented, and who loves working in a team. Specific qualifications include:
· 2-4+ years’ experience working in a relevant field (real estate, sales, etc) --COLLEGE GRADS WITH HUSTLE WELCOME
· Comfort working in small, effective tams
· Flexibility regarding day-to-day required actions
· Natural fluency with business technology (MS Office, Web apps, etc)
· Customer service and success mentality
· Project management and business task experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
