Position Summary:
The Manager, Documentation & Project Management position covers a range of cross functional project and documentation management activities and responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Director, Project Management, this individual is responsible for managing projects and deliverables to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements. This individual manages an internal and external document schedule, working with documentation analysts and technical writers to manage the completion of policies, procedures, and technical documents. In this role, the individual also edits documents produced by the documentation analysts and technical writers. The position relies on effective engagement with many groups for both project and documentation management and requires strong organization skills and excellent time management. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and independently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and changing conditions while also functioning as a collaborative team member.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Initiate and manage planning discussions and requirement gathering sessions with key business partners across Operations/Servicing/Technology/Marketing/Legal and Compliance
· Plan and implement projects
· Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
· Define tasks and required resources
· Create schedules and timelines
· Assess and report on project risks, budget, schedule, and scope
· Work with a team of writers in-house who produce policies, procedures, and technical documentation
· Review, analyze, edit and re-write/update existing documents for proper grammar and sentence structure and readability
· Set and maintain standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology across the company
· Mentor and provide guidance to a team of in-house writers
· Maintain policies and procedures on SharePoint site ensuring proper version control and archival practices

Education & Experience:
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, Technology or related field
· 3 + years Project Management experience
· 3+ plus years of procedure writing experience in financial services industry
· Experience with technical writing standards and practices as it relates to documenting processes and procedures
· Experience with SharePoint and maintaining version control
Preferred
· PMP certification
· Agile certification
· Experience in a consumer lending organization
· Experience working in an Agile environment
· Experience using Snagit or similar screen capture tool
· Experience using Jira
