Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled OCD psychologist specializing in adult treatment, including trichotillomania, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, with a focus on evidence-based interventions such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Inferential Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT). Candidates should have a strong foundation in assessment and diagnosis, and a demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a supportive environment, with supervision and training provided to pre-licensed doctoral interns with relevant experience.
Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, providing evidence-based individual and group therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for adults with OCD and related disorders.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual and group sessions, utilizing techniques such as ERP, ACT, and ICBT.
- Document client sessions accurately and efficiently using KIPU EHR, ensuring documentation is completed within a 24-hour window.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care coordination and adherence to best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of OCD treatment and contribute to ongoing professional development efforts within the organization.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice psychology in the state of California or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with adults with OCD and related disorders, including trichotillomania.
- Proficiency in using KIPU EHR for documentation purposes.
- Ability to document client sessions within a 24-hour window.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Specialty training in ERP, ACT for OCD, and ICBT preferred.
- Willingness to consider pre-licensed doctoral interns with applicable experience and training.
