Opening for a community manager in and around the Dothan, AL area.
What we are looking for:
- Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors, and co-workers.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong customer service skills and leadership skills
- Must be very detail oriented
- Must be punctual, self-motivated, and have the ability to resolve conflicting issues
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proper automobile liability insurance and dependable transportation that is in good operating condition
- Background check required
Basic duties & responsibilities:
- Responsible for all lease administration duties
- Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings. Provide Notices for late rent, rules, and regulations violations.
- Appear in court on the behalf of the Company in regard to evictions.
- Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives
- Determine whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the units, grounds, facilities, and equipment.
- Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and coworkers.
- Obey all Federal Fair Housing Laws and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, familial status or national origin.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
