LifeTutors is a small, non-residential, clinically-informed coaching and mentoring company for young adults seeking whole life wellness and independence.
We are seeking to add two new members to our team in Murfreesboro, TN!
We are specifically looking for coaches with backgrounds/ education in ASD/ neurodivergent young adults, executive functioning and independent living skills. We have a young female participant looking for two strong, active coaches to support her in nutrition and exercise, life skills, and finding and keeping a job or exploring further academic progress.
Our coaching sessions are in-person, face to face, and take place at home, at school & in the community- wherever our participant's goals are. We encourage those with a strong clinical background in social work, mental/behavioral health, and occupational therapy to apply.
Duties include:
- Conduct individual coaching sessions with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized goal plans
- Provide guidance and support to clients in achieving their goals, such as academics, employment, independent living, managing their medication, and more.
- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to address clients' unique needs
- Collaboration with management, coaches, and families as needed
- Keep accurate records of client progress, notes, and maintain confidentiality of participant information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a human services related field, such as psychology, counseling, social work or education
- Experience working in mental or behavioral health with young adults
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young adults in transition
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ideally, we'd like to hire one male and one female coach, both with experience in Substance Use Disorder and bringing recovery home. Strong with executive functioning to help with academics and physically active - our young adult enjoys trampolining, skateboarding and pickle ball! Someone who helps him bring physical movement into his recovery, and explores academic, emotional regulation goals.
