Job Description
VerityRx is seeking an Independent (1099) field sales representative with an opportunity to earn additional incremental commission. This position requires an experienced sales person who can, not only sell products but also, recognize new opportunities with both new and existing customers. The preferred candidate would have documented success and established relationships in any of the following areas: physician’s offices, urgent cares, clinics, orthopedic, surgery centers and/or pain management. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have a strong proven sales record with solid relationship skills.
The targeted customers are physicians, NPs, PAs, office managers, buyers, and administrative staff within outpatient medical facilities.
Compensation is based on revenue generated. As a 1099 partner, no benefits or expenses are provided. However, aggressive commissions are being paid to attract top talent. Earning potential is directly correlated with performance.
This position will be home based with minimal travel as required to execute the following:
Job Responsibilities
- Call on medical facilities (clinics, physician’s offices, urgent cares, surgery centers, orthopedics) to sell generic medications and medical supplies
- Prospecting of new clients through cold calling and/or in-person visits
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Building relationships to instill confidence and be perceived as a trusted advisor with our customers who order weekly from a company like ours.
- Communicate with distributor with needs/feedback/suggestions
- Qualify leads through phone calls and digital communication
- Schedule and lead initial sales meetings with prospective customers
- Identify opportunities to close
- Develops knowledge of our products specific to the target markets
- Must develop a thorough understanding of the new customer onboarding process
- Maintain strict adherence to all legal and compliance guidelines
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years (continual) pharmaceutical or medical experience required
- Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and physician office, medical facility and clinic dynamics
- Work independently; be a self-starter
- Conduct business with a high degree of accuracy
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to prioritize and plan
- Quick learner, intelligent, professional, friendly, and polished; ability to inspire credibility and trust with all customers.
- Ability to listen to healthcare professionals and their staff to tailor a solution to their needs.
- Hit the ground running with established customer relationships
