Our Large Corrective Technicians perform all operation of our specialized Liftra equipment, including the replacement of major wind turbine components such as blades, gearboxes, generators, pitch bearings and hubs.
At least 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance – preferably in major component exchange – Exceptions based on experience and background
Familiarity with heavy rigging preferred
Must possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and proof of insurance coverage
Must be able to pass core safety, climbing and other required training courses
Must be willing to obtain a class A CDL with air brake endorsement
Driving Record Requirements
Valid current state license without restrictions
No license suspension or restrictions within previous 3 years
No DWI/DWA/OWI/OUI etc. within previous 5 years
No more than 3 points on the motor vehicle report within the previous 3 years
