Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Improving existing processes and procedures and developing new ones.
- Layout of work cells for reduced cycle time, improved material handling, better access to utilities, etc.
- Design and install new controls to equipment to increase uptime and/or reduce operator skill level. Examples include inline gaging, automated loading, etc.
- Design fixtures or tools to reduce operator stress, decrease cycle time, or improve quality.
- Recommend and implement new processes to decrease cost, shorten processing time or improve quality.
- Develop new processes using design of experiments, collaborate with industry experts and internal resources.
- Document processes and train production employees.
- Create process drawings and inspection sheets following engineering standards.
- Write work instructions for a multi-cultural workforce.
- Identify gaps in training and recommend internal or external training programs.
- Collaborate with industry experts and internal resources.
- Any other additional duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience in a consumer goods manufacturing environment
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with solid modeling software, SolidWorks experience.
- Experience in metal machining, grinding, and finishing.
- Experience in automation.
- Mechanical and electrical design
- PLC programming (Codesys, Automation Direct, Siemens, Beckhoff)
- Pneumatic and hydraulic logic
- Linear/rotary motion
- Experience with industrial robots, familiarity with Fanuc robots.
- Trade skills such as welding, electrical wiring, plumbing, and manual machining.
