Rozel, a leader in providing arc flash evaluations and power system studies, is currently seeking a professionally licensed electrical engineer. The Electrical Engineer will provide services in support of arc flash projects throughout the United States. Experience in ETAP is preferred but not required
Candidate Must Have
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- A professional engineering license or ability to obtain one with willingness to obtain and maintain licenses in additional states
- Industrial or commercial background/experience
- Ability to perform electrical system modeling using SKM, EasyPower and/or ETAP.
- Experience performing arc flash calculations, reviewing data and making recommendations to mitigate arc flash risk and improve protective device coordination
- Willingness to travel. Job requires 20% travel to our customer’s locations.
- Physical location in United States not as important as being located within 2hrs of a major airport
- Experience in Electrical Safety and knowledge of associated safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, ASTM), working knowledge of the NEC, and demonstrated working experience on or around energized equipment in an industrial setting including proper PPE in order to ensure a safe work environment and personnel safety.
- Excellent communication skills to be used in responding to electrical safety questions and performing program presentations.
- Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration and teamwork.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass federal background checks.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
- High level of self-motivation, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and schedule workload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
