Overview of Job
Retail Associates are responsible for generating sales by providing all customers with an exceptional shopping experience resulting in positive customer relationships and a profitable store. They are expected to always embody and represent the Nine Line company culture and brand image while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in order to maintain a positive working environment.

● Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

● Proficient with Shopify POS system and payment/cash handling policies.
Essential Functions
● Consistently demonstrate the Nine Line brand standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales goals.
● Perform quick and accurate register transactions while adhering to company standards and policies.
● Contribute to a positive team environment by effectively communicating with coworkers and treating one another with kindness and respect.
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all product offerings.
● Provide support to coworkers through sharing of product knowledge and assisting with completing of tasks.
● Maintain standards of a clean and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and processing room to ensure the store environment is safe and presentable for employees and customers.
● Proactively resolve customer concerns in a manner that is consistent with company policies. Collaborate with store leadership on elevated issues.
● Ensure sales floor restock is conducted each day.
Work Environment
● This job operates in a retail store setting in addition to some time spent in a warehouse environment. Retail Associates will be required to use standard store equipment including POS systems, telephones, and folding equipment.
Physical Demands
● This position requires long periods of standing and walking, ability to lift and move up to 50lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
● This position is full-time and part-time. Workdays are Monday-Saturday with working hours of 8:30am-6:30pm. Full-time retail associates are expected to work 40 hours a week. Part-time retail associates are expected to work 15-30 hours a week.
Travel
● Travel is very minimal except for occasional events.
Required Education and Experience
● Retail experience is preferred but not required.
