About Marguerite’s Place
Marguerite’s Place empowers New Hampshire families to thrive. Family homelessness is a challenging, multi- faceted issue with both dire, immediate impacts, and long-term generational effects. The combination of Marguerite’s Place whole family services and individualized supports provides the opportunity for families to transition from crisis to stability, achieve sustainable success, and to lead happy, healthy lives. Over our 28-year history, we have supported thousands of low-income Nashua families through residential and community-based programs.
About our Child Care Program:
Our Child Care program serves both families living within our transitional housing programs as well as community-based families. After many years of holding a Licensed Plus designation, our program has become one of the first in the state to be a GSQ 1 (Grantie Steps for Quality) the updated quality rating system that recognizes NH childcare programs for efforts to improve the quality of care for young children and rewards programs that strive to improve their practices and staff qualifications. We focus intentionally on a social-emotional curriculum, incorporation of the NH Early Learning Standards, as well as trauma-informed care.
