We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor who will play a hands-on active role in the development and sustainability of our manufacturing equipment and facility. He/she will develop, instill, and maintain the company’s foundational Good Documentation Practices, preventive maintenance program and Standard Maintenance Operating Procedures to help create a reliable and superior product for our customers. Our Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor will be able to effectively multi-task the demands of maintenance, quality, and safety by working with our company’s leadership team to achieve a vision.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter that will be able to help us maintain our high standards with our limited resources. The Quality Team in particular rests as a 3-person team with part-time remote support and project interns as needed. It is our biggest team aside from Manufacturing!
As the Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor your work environment will require the following skills:

As the Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor required functions to be executed include the following:
- Planning and execution of preventative, in-process and facilities maintenance
- Develop and execute preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment in collaboration with maintenance, manufacturing and quality teams
- Develop and execute facilities maintenance on manufacturing equipment in collaboration with appropriate teams and management
- Schedule assignments in accordance with cGMP standard and Mineralife manufacturing schedule
- Assess and improve performance operation of bottling machinery during packaging, such as: 3-Roller Labeler, Capsule Counter, Induction Sealer, Capper, Cottoner, Polisher, Nitrogen Doser, etc.
- Assess and improve other machine operations and maintenance, including: 8-Head Filler, Fully and Semi-Automatic Encapsulators, Pumps, Balances Blenders, etc.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems with equipment, devices, or products and make necessary adjustments working with the Quality and Manufacturing Teams. Escalate serious concerns to Operations Management
- Assist in developing the technical capabilities and skills of less experienced team members as needed and appropriate
- Ensure GMP & FDA Standards in Maintenance Activities
- Read, understand, and follow all appropriate SOPs and procedures
- Keep logs in adherence to proper cGDP (current good documentation practice) for all work orders, PM, in-process maintenance and more
- Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately; including batch records, equipment logs, work orders, and other forms as needed
- Support Organizational Operations
- Maintain proper inventory of tools, supplies, spare parts, and other equipment to perform job duties
- Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects
- Communicate and escalate serious facilities and/or equipment concerns to upper management in a timely manner with proposed solutions
- Mineralife manufacturing schedule is generally between the hours of 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime hours as needed. This position may or may not have to work outside of Manufacturing hours to maintain manufacturing schedule in adherence with production timelines.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Manufacturing Manager in scheduling facilities and manufacturing maintenance activities while remaining in compliance with GMP standards
- Work with QA on documentation and meeting cGMP compliance requirements
- Provide guidance or training to other team members as needed
As the Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor required physical attributes include the following:
- Prolonged periods standing, stooping, and walking
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to hear/ listen for machine operations
- Required PPE when in manufacturing facility: facemask, hair net, gloves, foot covers
The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor will participate in a deep dive intensive on-boarding process to ensure a success, set up expectations, and provide accountability.
