Objective: The Leasing Professional interacts with potential prospects and existing residents., show available apartment homes, explain pricing and lease terms, process rental applications, negotiate lease renewals, and coordinate move ins & move outs. Also, in addition to sales and marketing duties, a Leasing Professional will also submit maintenance service requests for residents while supplying superior customer service. All while increasing occupancy and achieving above average renewal rates for maximum possible occupancy. Position Purpose Secure lease agreements for qualified prospects Essential Responsibilities Answer incoming calls related to sales for prospective residents and services for current residents. Greet prospective residents, determine needs and preferences, professionally present the community and specific apartment homes. Completes lease paperwork and accepts rent payments and deposits. Organizes and files appropriate lease paperwork, reports, ect.. Inspects models and make ready vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness. Walk your designated tour path daily. Marketing to generate traffic to your community. Conducting secret shops on your competitors as weekly market surveys. Staying in compliance with state and federal fair housing guidelines at all times. You are the front-line representative and spokesperson for your community. You will express the benefits of your community and how they will serve your prospective residents.
