We are seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Associate to join our startup private equity firm. As a Private Equity Associate, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis and identifying the most lucrative investment opportunities for our firm as we look to invest in service based businesses. Candidate will have an understanding of finance, accounting, financial modeling, cash flow forecast, Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, Candidate will exhibit the ability to communicate and build relationships.
By leveraging your expertise in market research and financial analysis, you will provide valuable guidance, enabling us to make informed investment decisions and achieve maximum returns.

Education
- Two years minimum proven work experience as a Private Equity Associate, Investment banker, or similar role
- Associate’s, Bachelors, or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field

- Good analytical, strategic, and implementation skills

Responsibilities
- Generate detailed financial including LBO and merger models to analyze potential investments
- Model and summarize current and projected performance for senior management on a weekly basis
- Prepare profit and loss models
- Generate cashflow forecasts
- Perform due diligence on potential investments: meet the management, analyze key company metrics, review financial models etc
- Coordinate diligence sessions with co-investors, lenders and other financing sources
- Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
- Create quarterly and annual forecasts
- Draft and present internal proposals for approval
- Work collaboratively with deal teams, accounting, corporate and legal
- Perform month-end client valuation for assigned funds
- Research and assess offshore and domestic fund options
- Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
